Our client is one of the largest real estate owners and developers in North America. With a strong presence in Eastern Canada, it has an impressive portfolio of office, commercial and residential space located in strategic regions of the country. The Human Resources team would like to add an HRBP to complete their team to support several properties in Quebec and Ontario. 

Job specification

The incumbent supports all employee-related processes and programs, such as labour relations, talent management, recruitment and organizational development. He/She plays a central role in training managers on the implementation of onboarding plans, ensuring a positive experience for new employees. In addition, he/she collaborates with the senior HRBP to deal with complex labour relations issues and participates in various human resources projects such as employee engagement, employer branding and corporate culture.

The incumbent of this position plays a critical role in collaborating with different levels of the organization to provide comprehensive support in the recruitment process. In addition, he/she works closely with managers for selection, hiring and evaluations, using best practices in human resources management.

Required profile

The position requires a university degree and at least five years of relevant experience (CHRP is an asset). You are proficient in human resources management systems (HRIS) and are perfectly bilingual since you will be called upon to work with English-speaking internal clients. You are available to travel to Ontario monthly (specifically Toronto and Ottawa). You have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong focus on customer service, as well as an ability to work independently and adapt quickly to change.
