Organizational context

Our client, an NPO operating in the associative sector, is currently looking for its next General Manager.

The organization plays a key role in mobilizing its members and partners, and in defending the interests of the community it serves. The General Manager will be responsible for leading the operational and strategic management of the organization, ensuring that its actions have a significant and lasting impact.

Job specification

As a member of the Board of Directors, the General Manager will work closely with the administrators to develop the necessary strategic management tools, such as the strategic plan and the annual plan. He/she will be responsible for bringing current projects to a successful conclusion, while identifying new opportunities for the organization (grants, new services, partnerships, acquisitions, etc.). The incumbent will also manage human resources (12 permanent employees) and financial resources, ensuring their alignment with the NPO's objectives. Another key aspect of the role will be to foster a culture of collaboration and commitment among the organization's employees, volunteers, members, and customers.

Required profile

The ideal candidate will have solid management experience, with expertise in government and public relations. As an influential leader, you excel in dynamic and innovative environments. You understand local issues and are guided by rigorous ethics and exemplary governance. You can develop relevant business strategies, build sincere relationships, and embody the authority needed to represent the organization before government authorities.
