Job specification

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent plans, organizes, directs and controls the financial and material resources of his department, and is responsible for the Company's financial activities. He/she will be called upon to exercise his/her talents and influence in the following areas:

  • Strategic
  • Operational
  • HR management of the department, which is made up of a team of professional, clerical and managerial staff (15 employees in total).

We would like to attract the attention of CPAs (graduate degree an asset) with at least fifteen (15) years' experience in team management, accounting, auditing, budgeting, planning and financial analysis.

This role is at the heart of the organization, as the incumbent is called upon to respond to the expectations and requests of the Board of Directors, other directors, business partners and the public, during public hearings. A strong ability to manage stress and emotions is a must for this role.

Required profile

Managerial courage and strategic thinking are crucial to meeting this important challenge. The ability to mobilize the team and support it in the adoption of various changes (system deployment, process redesign for optimization, etc.) is essential. Thanks to his/her interpersonal skills, the incumbent must be able to clearly express his/her expectations and those of the organization.
