To support its future ambitions, the company is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a Director of Finance and Administration. This strategic role encompasses operational, budgetary and administrative management. This position is essential to ensure optimal management aligned with the organization's strategic vision, thus contributing to its sustainability and expansion.

Job specification

nder the authority of the Co-President, you will oversee the sound management of accounting/finance and administration operations. Supported by 3 professionals, your role will be to establish a game plan aligned with management's vision and growth opportunities.

Main responsibilities

  • Supervision of the complete accounting cycle
  • Establish and monitor budgets (explain variances and suggest corrective measures)
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end report
  • Define a cost reduction/optimization strategy: review, negotiate or renew annual agreements with key suppliers
  • Optimize processes: eliminate redundancies, improve efficiency
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and follow-up on credit facility renewals and financing
  • Interpret data and information to help the company make financial and business decisions

Requirements

  • University degree in a related field
  • 5+ years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the construction industry an asset
