Our client, a key player in the architecture industry, is driven by a mission of organizational transformation and sustainable growth. To support its future ambitions, the company is looking to expand its team with a Director of Finance and Administration, a strategic position that will encompass the operational, budgetary and human resources management of essential services, including finance and IT. This position is crucial to ensure optimal management in line with the organization's strategic vision.

Job specification

Reporting to the President, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the human and financial resources of his/her sector, while ensuring continuous process improvement. He/she will be responsible for identifying organizational needs and providing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This person will also oversee various projects, such as financial management, IT systems, as well as other strategic projects (building, tenders, etc.). He/she will also play a key role in implementing the strategic plan, ensuring that every action is aligned with the company's overall objectives. Budget monitoring, analysis of financial data, and recommendations based on these analyses will also be part of her responsibilities.

Required profile

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in administration or a related field, and at least 7 years' experience in administrative and team management. Experience in project and change management is desirable. A CPA designation will be considered an asset, as will Lean certification. We're looking for someone who can mobilize and lead teams with a strategic vision, while mastering budget planning. Mobilizing leadership, strong negotiating skills, and a rigorous, solution-oriented approach will be qualities sought to excel in this role.
