Located in a primarily industrial area, our Pointe-aux-Trembles branch employs approximately 130 people and benefits from a low turnover rate, reflecting a stable and engaged team. We are seeking a Branch Director who will ensure efficient operations management while actively contributing to profitability and customer satisfaction.
Job specification
Reporting to the Regional Director, the Branch Director plays a strategic role in achieving the company's performance and growth objectives. They oversee the store’s operations in alignment with strategic directions while emphasizing the development of their team’s skills. Their role includes managing customer service, human resources, merchandising, and budgets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
The Branch Manager ensures the efficient management of operations by maintaining compliance with standards and procedures while optimizing store layout and inventory management. They implement strategies to maximize sales performance and profitability. In terms of customer service, they strive to deliver an exceptional experience by ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty while managing complaints and providing effective solutions. On the human resources front, they are responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating the team. They foster a positive work environment and ensure employee development by establishing schedules that align with operational needs. Regarding financial and analytical management, they analyze store performance using key indicators (sales, margins, inventory, operating costs), participate in budget development and monitoring, and implement corrective actions to meet financial objectives. Finally, they ensure compliance with company policies on safety, loss prevention, and regulatory requirements while maintaining store cleanliness and upkeep.
Required profile
Ideally holding a university degree, we are looking for an experienced bilingual manager with natural leadership, integrity, and a hands-on approach focused on customer service. Recognized for their analytical skills, excellent listening abilities, strong communication skills, adaptability, and quick decision-making, the ideal candidate will have experience managing large teams in a retail environment.
